Clean up scripts clarification

I was wondering, since I hear different things, how does the cleanup script work and what is affected?

Reason I want to know: I was roleplaying a situation earlier in which I want to leave certain items on a certain location for someone to find them later.

Also, how long does a pile of money stay on the ground for?

I believe there isn't a timer on each item. The script runs once every so often, and things are cleared up irrespective of how long they have been on the ground

Thanks, I suspected as much when it came to items on the ground. But what about vehicles? What conditions need to apply for a vehicle to be cleaned up?

I think it is just a script that is executed every X amount of minutes. Items don't have a value of how long they have been on the floor, every time the script executes it takes everything with it.

I believe it is similar, a timer wouldn't work, although I believe that that there is some sort of proximity thing to it... Hopefully Ciaran can confirm

I had hoped vehicles wouldn't clean up if they had for example a gun in it. That could work for my purpose.

i was helping an fellow unmc out and drop some guns ammo and clothing as thay wasn't a vip and it just vanished was really annoying
