To Hank - I think that when there is someone in the pilots seat, it classes as VDM. Since the pilot is attributed with the 'kills'. So if they are in co-pilot then it won't VDM them. Due to the way the script works.

Can't see how that would be exploitation, there's many reasons to fly in the co-pilot like being able to leave the rotors running when leaving the chopper.

You cannot kill people on ground in MH9 if your in pilot seat.

I don't think its stated anywhere to be not allowed, I think the issue is that the way the script works is that when the player does damage from the pilot seat (which is how Arma assigns it for the passengers I think) the player gets 100% health. It's just the VDM script nothing else i guess?

Yes its the VDM script but im being told its allowed and its not allowed.

In copilot shooters can do damage, in pilot not.

Meaning a squad of rebels on a MH9 is pointless, same for a squad of AR.

I guess wait for an admins final decision since using the co-pilot method is technically exploiting the way the VDM script works. But for a purpose that surely i allowed since it's just shooting from a vehicle which isn't against the rules.

i believe this is for when people found out that fuel lasted longer in co pilot and his since been fixed

Right.. i get that this is an RP server but you also got to remember that when there are firefights, especially in the circumstances that they have recently been in (Have spoken to Neo about it), where people are hiding in the highest point around an area for 1.6k and police officers cant go inside a compound.

We are rp'ing as cops, and trying to stop the rebels that are wanted for 5mil+ is something that we have to do as cops. The reason I am asking about the helicopter is so that we can shoot into the tower, as otherwise, like yesterday, 25 police officers are going to die. Its another tactic for attacking a millitary compound that recently rebels have been holding because it is so strong and easy to hold.

Why would it be exploiting to leave your rotors running? A perfectly normal thing in real life?
