Can Gas Stations explode?

So, in real life, if you shoot a gas station, it would explode. I have never tried it in the server but would it explode if we shot it in ARMA?

Yes, gas stations explode in ARMA. And if I'm correct it can explode in server aswell but it requires a lot more shots.

No, I believe a script has been applied to pretty much everything so you can't cause it damage. Try shooting out some windows in Kavala on office buildings and the Kav HQ. Some might work, some won't.

They certainly used to explode (there are videos) but I think they were all edited on the server map so that they don't take damage. It is the same with houses where they can get knocked down in ARMA in general but not on the server.

Short answer, no they don't explode!

In base arma they blow if if you look at them funny but on here itll take a LOT of effort to blow it up to the point where its not really possible

For scientific reasons, Tier 2 MPU Members and DMT's of the Marine Policing Unit will take it upon our selves to test this theory. Stand by for a definitive answer.

Disclaimer, at the time of the experiment, there were around 8 civilians online. None of which were in the vicinity of the experiment.  As a result, NO Civilians or Boats were broken/injured. Can confirm, as a scientific experiment, myself and @SGT Matt Pettorossi tested out said theory and came to the following conclusion.

Though, how the hell did you get the boat on land.

Oh and the important thing is that you must repeat the experiment with more guns. 2 boats, a few stompers and mk18s should do it
