this is the worst thing for RP ever to come to this server

I just got Shot on sight all they said was yes this is him flew me to NPAS put me straight in prison

where is the role play?

the stupid thing is I think they are trying to also glitch as they sent me to prison I teleported back into the other persons escort

so 2 people

Sgt.SlickRick and Cpt.BadAss

One sends to prison while the other clicks escort so i come back and they can resend me they only didnt send me back due to Maratek turning up at NPAS

 
Rules about bounty hunting should be written asap. I really hate having to struggle rping when bounty hunting (and most of the times they kill me after talking for ten seconds) while there is people who tase on sight.

its meta gaming at the basic level they see name above head they shoot, take you to a HQ that is not manned by the police so they can send you straight to prison from now on I am going to start manning these HQ's and I will force you to RP with the supposed criminal and if I do not like your argument for why you know his name I will set the so called criminal free and Arrest you for wasting police time

 
Bounty hunter rules are done... Read the rules for them.

 
Thanks, I just read them :) , I have a question tho: if we can't teamup with other bounty hunters, how are we supposed to catch the big gangs members? It is impossible :/

Seems to me that you're just mad you got caught. Quoting a post from Wilco:

So yeah, they shot you on sight, so what? I don't know about their RP after they caught you, but there's nothing wrong with tazing you on sight.

Not only that, but you're trying to accuse them for glitching as well? They accidently tried to send you to jail and escort you at the same time, which resulted in you being teleported back to them. They realized it was a glitch, and thus decided to let you go. What exactly are you crying about here?

By the way, I believe there's a recording of you threatening to combat log after they got you. How ironic.

How about i explain, we have been chasing this guy all over altis, we have bought numerous tips to get you, and as Wilco posted : "Bascially you have a bounty list... that gives you a virtual picture of the person ... you can ask for tips... if you see the person you reconsie them from the picture... taze them and then the RP starts from there." we tazed you, brought u to our chopper and RP'd that we matched ur face to the photo we had. Then u started to whine and said u were gonna combat log right when we landed, so naturally after that i tried to send him to jail right as i pulled him out of my chopper, and BTW, this guy jumped out like 4 times be4 we finally got him in the chopper, my friend Cpt.Badass tried to escort him at the same time, and suddenly he appeared back in a orange suit, stuck to Cpt.Badass and he couldt unrestrain or nothing, so i knocked him out and let him go, since we already got our money, also tried to write it to the police that showed up, but they kept yelling we had to leave so not sure they got it. there you go, the whole story, its all recorded ofc.

8C) Bounty hunters can only taze the person they are shooting at to combat trolling.

Is that suppose to mean that you can't use your taser to catch someone? Just to stop trolling? I'm confused :p

 
I haven't been in game to see bounty hunters yet, but on regards to a photo of him, for all you know that photo could have been out of date, could have cut his hair, changed clothes, could have been a twin, could be a number of things. Get a name, Dob, license, anything besides seeing his face and sending him to jail..

Heard it here first folks next time this person breaks the law my fellow police personal taze on sight and refer to this thread ;)

 
So wait a second. A bounty hunter can taze me on sight? Does that mean, if I have a bounty, I can shoot any bountyhunter in his uniform on sight? After all, he is deffinetly going to shoot me in the back if he has a chance. Seems a bit unfair. If they can taze us on sight and we are supposed to roleplay before we take them out, that means they always win, unless I spot them first and hide somewhere. Which is bullshit.

I do agree that tazing on sight is bad roleplay. However, I've been playing as bounty hunter for a couple of days now while trying to RP as much as possible, and it's actually very difficult to capture our targets when we always have to start a conversation first. Pretty much every time we even get close to a high bounty, it's always the same old "You have five seconds to get away from here or you will get shot", or "Drop all your gear or die". That doesn't even give us a chance to do anything at all. Besides, people with a high bounty are usually never alone, which means that even if you taze on sight it's still very difficult to capture them all before the short stun duration on tazers ends and they simply get up and shoot you. 

I haven't used my tazer at all without trying to engage in some sort of roleplay first, and people still complain about metgaming or bad roleplay no matter how my friends and I try to handle the situation. We try to start a conversation with someone to get their identity, they run away and we taze them: "Bad roleplay". We capture someone, they refuse to give us their name, so we find other ways of confirming their identity: "Metagaming". I don't even know how to approach my targets anymore, cause it seems that no matter what we do they will always complain simply because they don't like the idea of bounty hunters or whatever. 

The rules for bounty hunting needs improvement. They are too vague, and ingame people are constantly arguing about what you can and can't do. Maybe it should be a whitelisted job, I don't know.

This is the best, how do you think this is any different from police work?

but now im gonna have loads of fun spamming tazers like crazy just as every bountyhunter does with their full auto PWD taZzZzzers

Taze on sight and then ask is the hardcore stuff.
