Hello there!
There are a couple of things which troubles my mind when it comes to Bounty Hunters and metagaming.
I'm aware that I cannot use the nametag above a players head to recognize if they got a bounty on them or not, I'm usally walking around and talking to people, Trying to find out their name, If I've used the tip function I might ask around for a specific name.
Example:
I get tiped that a fellow named Rob has been seen in Kavala (Bounty hunter mechanic).
I "patrol" the streets, usally around the bank, Asking people for a fellow named Rob.
There is a possibility during this moment that another player is metagaming, and has seen a player named Rob just at the Kavala Bar, There is no way for me to know if he's metagaming or if he actually has had an conversation with Rob, and therefor know his name.
How am I supposed to interact in situations like these?
There is always a possibility that the player metagamed and gave away Rob's identity just by looking at the playertag above his head.
