Hey all back from my lovely vacation to visit my northern cousins in canada! I must say it was quite the culture shock! At only 18 I was offered alcohol from numerous sources and they were frightened when i told them about the US's alcohol laws! Also instead of blaming problems on poor under achieving minority groups they blame everything on the French. It was hilarious to watch my Great Uncle spew hate about the French. It was all too surreal. I also on my morning runs saw quite a few Deer in the road. I did not see any Moose though. On my return journey we stopped by a Massachusetts pub for some dinner. Please don't order sea food in-land! I ate fish that smelled of ammonia and paid dearly for it... Was also surprised at first seeing another country's flag flying in the sky as I haven't experienced it before. All in all, I really miss Canada.

Welcome back, what state are you in in the US normally?
