Blacklisted (Cant play)

I applied for a police job and said i was 15 not knowing you had to be 16 but you see my birthday is next month i really thought the police officer would understand but he said i have bean blacklisted please explain what this is as its my first time getting blacklisted and i think its a stupid reason for getting blacklisted

If you lied about your age on your application you get immediately blacklisted. This means you cannot join and have to appeal your blacklist to the police board (CI's of constabularys/leaders of specialised units/SI's/CSI's and REP's) I can't remember if it's a perma blacklist for lying about your age but contact an SI/CSI/ academy member for details about appealing against the blacklist. You would have to write a statement and preferably be available to join teamspeak when the board holds a blacklist meeting (Wednesday's at 7PM I do believer.) this apply a for any type of blacklist you may incur.

Blacklisted means that because did something that caused the police to have decided they don't want you to reapply. Someone from academy will have to elaborate but at least in the NHS we have a blacklist appeal process.

I'm not sure you quite understand the reasons for being blacklisted so I would suggest you go and ask someone from academy to explain to you. If you simply said you were 15, they would deny you and tell you to do it the way described in the link above. I can only assume you lied about something if they chose to blacklist you but as I said you will need to ask.

EDIT: I just went and checked. You blatantly lied about your age on your application. Consider it a learning process that if you lie to someone they are well within their right to not want to be involved with you. You applied for the first time and were flagged as a young recruit and therefore denied. If you followed the above mentioned process it would have been fine, however you instead reapplied claiming to be 16 and expected them to not notice. I don't know if you will be able to appeal your blacklist but don't necessarily be surprised.
