[BG] Ethan and [BG] Agdwononono something ruining my night.

So, Im basically pretty pissed right now, but I felt I needed to write this post cause what just happened to me shows exactly whats wrong with people on this server at some times.

So I was having some nice, fun RP with Steven Seabass, some EXP guys and some other Marmite Miners. After the free weekend with all the shooting and craziness I was really, really enjoying myself, and actually had fun.

Then along comes BG Ethan. He starts talking about snipers and that he wants my car and my weapons, but I try to ignore him and try to get him in on the roleplay but he JUST wants my car and my weapons. So after awhile of him threatening us with the snipers, I give him my rifle and say "Fine, you have my rifle, please go away". But no, he wants my car too. So I taze him and try to restrain him but gets shot instantly.

Nothing against server rules or anything happened, but to have that nice, fun roleplay session destroyed just over a rifle and a car got me so, so pissed off.

This is a roleplay server, why not ROLEPLAY, and stop ruining it for others. I even let you guys off with an illegal firearm when you used the old "hunting rifle" excuse, and this is how I get repayed?

For an established gang on the server, it was shit and it ruined my entire evening.

Rebels Want police guns cause they don't want to buy them i can't remember who told me that today.

 
Believe it was Batman who told me this as they can no longer purchase cheap weapons through the Donator system. Hope this doesn't become the new norm and sorry to see it ruining your evening bud.

Well this is not a roleplay post, this is me complaining about something. You know what? Im pretty sure you are not sorry. I just hope you take this to heart and try a little harder in the future. There are plenty of other game modes or games you can play if you just want weapons.

I am very sorry for this  ruining your night, at first are intentions were to make a road block at the bridge, however after spending about 5 mins there we heard gun shots so i went to investigate...

After Ethan had seen that there was a police sports hatchback there we seen this as an opportunity to commence operation "cinco de mayo" ( this is were we try and steal a police sports hatch back.)

We did cinco de mayo yesterday at a bank robbery were we stole 5 cars in RP. And we loved it...

We did not intend it to be a massacre and solely wanted some RP as we just encounter hobos all night who just want to rob the tool kit in the back of my car.

I hope that this does not affect are relations with the police as all of today i have had nothing but great role play from all of them!

I even went as far as handing my self in 5 mins after the shoot out so we could RP a little. 

I myself would never choose a gun fight over a RP session. Just look at the past 3 bank ops we have done.... We had no guns or ammo yet still got away with 40+ gold.

I would like to say sorry for ruining your night, and know that we would never want a repeat of this.

Rping "We have snipers give us your weapons and your car or you die" is not really GREAT roleplay, is it? And to do it in the middle of another, FUN roleplay session, is just a dick move. We could have radioed in for backup, got in positions, restrained you and whatnot, but i gave you clear indications I didn't want a firefight and gave you several chances to jump in on the RP session, but NO, free weapons and a police car obviously means more to you then roleplay and letting people other then you having fun. Yes, I accept your apology but I sincerely hope that you improve.

Yes, we understand as a group that RP is 1st priority, and we should never rush are selves into a gun fight. We should of talked are way into the RP which is currently ongoing than interrupting yours and afterwards devised a plan to  take the car, as using guns is too easy. 

Let this be a note to all gangs, as no one is perfect! RP with the cops is much more of a rich experience than just killing them. Try it and you will see why. You dont need 200k worth of gear to rob a bank. All you need is a good story line, planing and RP.

And how much does that cost?

Sorry to hear that the session turned sour for you @BratJaggesVlnd. I'm also sorry my ping decided to kick me off as I was having a great time with you. Thanks for impounding my mobility scooter, I came back on and spoke to Sgt Xsum at Kavala HQ and had another great RP session involving my knee surgery. 

I'll see you around the island and hope this strong pain medication I am on impairs my scooter skills.

I’m Shure the guys had the best intention of RP’ing with you. However (since you perfectly know whom they were) what action did you take towards the guys? Have you tried to contact them via Teamspeak? Wouldn’t it been better to talk this over with the guys instead of putting this on the forum? There is no place for  a personal vendetta on this forum, yet you take it out to these two.
We are trying our best to get good RP but we experience otherwise. Even when in role play, with some of the cops (and I’m not saying ALL the cops, to be clear) they have their outbound TS-voice that loud that we even can hear there  TS-channel on the background, saying: “Oh, it’s these BG-c*nts” or “its them B*st*rds again” . Yet, we do our best to continue the RP. I’m personally a bit disappointed that you as a mentor (and also out of character) brought this to the forum together with your frustrations. I hope you take this to heart and try a little harder on talking this out in the future instead of putting this on the forum directly.

 
I can fully understand your anger for their way of roleplay. From reading what you said it could have been handled much better on their part rather than a standard police officer hold up.

I am glad they understand that they could have done better and have apologised for their actions. As their leader i apologise for them also for this.

i however totally do not agree for the full forum hazing you have put up against them which is made to look even worse with your being a mentor..

edit: you say yourself that no server rules were broken by them but this may as well be a report a player post as that is how it comes across.

I can understand your frustration at being killed after being robbed at their hand but as you said yourself. You tazed him and went to restrain him after being told a sniper had sights on you. With respect, Im not sure what other outcome you expected for doing that in truth.

This isnt hazing in any way. If they had been on TS, I would have spoken to them there. But they weren't.

Also, of course I was expecting to get shot. that's the whole point of this complaint. But they've apologized and i've accepted. I was a little drunk and I was very, very angry and frustrated yesterday after having been on the server for almost 10 hours straight dealing with the free weekend people.

So instead of a forum PM you spend the time writing a full complaint about them on the forum intended for all admin, members of the community and prospective new members to see because you were angry about the action they took you clearly knew they would as a result of yours?

With all due respect. Drunk or sober i, As a member of this great community would have expected better from a forum mentor who is supposed to be above and better than this sort of thing.
