Best recording software?

So after some thought, i've decided it's time to start recording my gameplay in order to protect myself or catch a rule breaker.

I stream, but don't want to have to stream everytime i play in order to record my gameplay.

I use Xsplit and that has a built in gameplay recorder but it still uses alot of CPU.

So if anyone has any suggestions to which i could use that is good, it'd be much appreciated!

If you have a GPU that supports ShadowPlay, then use it - you won't find anything better.

I believe my GPU does support shadowplay, i'll give it a shot, thanks for the suggestion!
