It has all the best features you would expect from a game that's a decade old - Completely indestructible environment, vehicles that handle like a dead whale, and enemy/friendly tags that only render within 30m!
Despite all those fantastic features, for me, I played for the intense sense of nostalgia. Launching a dropship onto an enemy Titan for the first time this decade instantly transported me back to my younger years. All the objective points, all the tunnels, and all the weapons are like old friends, who after playing with for an hour seem like they never went away at all..
Ah, simpler times... And a fate I know Altis will be destined for eventually as well.. When I'm 40 I'd like to think I'll be able to log on to a rebooted arma 3 server, and get the same nostalgia and rush of memories I did as last night. Make the most of your time here chaps, nothing, even this fun, will last forever.
