Would it be possible for us to get a BF1 RPUK server when they come available?

On a rented server, players will be able to customize gameplay aspects like server name, map rotation, game mode, various game play settings, and more.

Among many other settings, players renting servers will be able to adjust:

ticket count

bullet damage

modes

weapons

maps

Server costs for BF1 are followed:

1 day: $2.99     2.45GBP

7 days: $11.99     9.81GBP

30 days: $42.99     35.18GBP

90 days: $99.99     81.82GBP

180 days: $149.99     122.74GBP

Awful idea, Obviously they made it so you cant self host. Only rent from a lost of pre approved providers who leech money and offer a frankly shite service. For more on how odious this method is, speak to your friendly neighbourhood @Vaffla

...might be interested if they allow a ranked server to be hosted on your own dedicated servers, however from experience that will not happen, There is money to be made there, therefore oversold shared providers will make it!

Well that's were BF1 is different (kinda). The only people hosting the servers is EA. So they will be able to secure the quality of the actual hardware. Since the servers come from the same provider as the official servers.

But yes like with all the others, no self host.

So.. the price one rented BF4 server, which they are probably running around 10-15 servers per box, we can nearly afford another server box? (excluding Windows licenses etc...) Their 'hardware guarantee' is blatantly just a method to make more money from the game. I extremely doubt that for their servers, they are not using consumer grade I7s or low end Xeon chips, which anyone can either buy or rent from a server provider. 

Its plain and simple: they are making money... because they can! After all, as a business it makes sense... its something people want... they only have it... monopolize it!

To be fair, I've considered not even buying the game because of this reason, don't get me wrong, its a great game... yet EA is clearly milking it for every last drop of money they can get.
