Basic questions concerning gangs

Hi,

I couldn't really find much info, so I was wondering on how to setup some things for our gang.

How do we make an insignia visible in game?

Does the gang name appear under my name as soon as I join the gang, or is this a separate feature?

If I want a gangtag and edit my name, does this reset my character?

1.Squad Xml, If you look that up you should find out some kind of tut. 
2.as soon as you join it'll show up

3.no it does not your characters stats will stay the same.
