Banned for shooting at a guy that stole my vehicle in the green zone. (Denied)

So me and my friend had a vehicle in the green zone next to the casino when a hobo locked picked the car jumped inside the driver seat, i shot at him and ten seconds later i got banned by cmd sovereign. So the guy that locked picked my car in the green zone managed to get off with the car + unbanned but im the one that got banned? I just wanna know why this is ?

The guy that stole my vehicle was called nathen.

Oh and just so you know.... i was sitting in the green zone uploading a video of a guy vdming whilst he was picklocking my car.
