before you start moaning about tear gas, I authorised my squad to use it because you where failing to RP on the negotiating and demanding a very unrealistic amount.

Not that unrealistic, you wanted us to settle for 350k for a PCSO and a PC, when not two days ago we got 500k for a single PCSO. In the end we asked for 1 million to release the PC and PCSO, going by the prices we had got in the past, asking for 1 million was us being generous.

who ever payed 500k for a pcso need to be trained in hostage negotiations, 1.5m which is what you where asking for the pc and pcso is way out and im sure if you ask any of our trained negotiators they would say the same.

We originally asked for 1.5M based on the ransom money we were offered on our first Hostage situation. We agreed to lower the price to 1M.

Please note, I have no issue with how the hostage situation was handled, you guys killed us and we killed the hostages fair and square. In the moment I was annoyed and alt-f4'd the game, I got banned for combat logging and would like to be unbanned if the admins see fit, that is what this thread was meant to be about.

I am given to understand that this is by no means the first time you have combat logged, SB. In fact, one of your own crew said to us 'he does it all the time - I'm surprised he's not already been banned for it' (or words to that effect).
Given that, what guarantee do we have that you really WON'T do it again? Old habits die hard, and all that...

I've removed you from the banlist.
There will be no third chance, SB.
Combat log again, when in custody/restraint, or being engaged by police, and you will be banned forever.
In the former case, you drop any primary weapon you have, which creates problems for the police (they can't pick it up without dropping theirs or having space in a backpack, which isn't often). This means the weapon falls into the hands of a civilian who then goes on to cause RDM mayhem with it, usually.
The second case results in the cop who had you in escort carrying your corpse around for the rest of the session, which looks ridiculous and undermines his ability to perform his duties.
Alt-F4ing to avoid the loss of gear or equipment is cheating (although in RDM/VDM cases I can see the temptation is greater). If in doubt - take the loss, get a comp later via the forums. And report the RDMer so we can get him banned. We will always take a better view of things if you come forward as a reporter and compreq, than the other way around! Sometimes you'll end up better off, even.
I appreciate you might get a bit ragey at times - we all do. But just take it on the chin. Grow a pair!
