banned for combat logging please help (Unbanned 22/04/15)

Broken rule: combat logging

hi my name is will

I was playing on your server last night and I was kidnapped by the marmite miners. they took me to their base and put me in a hole with some other people. I did what they said. they told me to sing a song and i opened my web browser to get the lyrics, then my Nvidia drivers crashed and made the game close down. i now updated my drivers and this should have fixed my problem.

the person who banned me was an admin who i believe was vladic in the base watching. i know that to him this would have looked like combat logging, but i can assure you that i am not stupid enough to break one of the servers rules, especially in front of an admin. if this is vladic reading i really hope you can understand and i know it would have looked like combat logging to you. i have been put in jail, questioned and have never logged off so why would it if it was just a couple of people having a laugh role playing! 

I hope you guys understand and give me another chance to play on the server, I really enjoy all the role play and the amazing things that you can do.

We were all having fun indeed, hopefully you were too. We were so impressed with your performance we gave you 250k and you just vanished. 

At least that's what it looked like.

Right so I happened to be at MM base for this when WillsComputer was put in the pit. After a very nice couple of songs sung by Wills he called the police, was given £250k and then disconnected right after totally ruining any chance of continuation RP from the small kidnapping kidnapping that had happened. Now you must see how this looked from the POV of the people playing. At no point did you try to contact anyone and tell them that you were having issues. All we saw was you logging in for a short time after then logging out again. I even left it for a while before banning you.

Can you see how this affected everyone involved?

 
yes i know how it would have looked and i understand this. It was just unlucky that it happened at this time. in future i will try and contact anyone who i was RPing with if i had to leave suddenly or because of a crash. i apologise for not telling you about this crash. 

 
Unban Appeal Process Rules

  • Do not contact admins via PM or on Team-speak about unban's they are dealt with on this forum only, If you ignore this rule your appeal on the forums will be denied & closed.

  • Unban Appeals are the lowest priority as it is your responsibility to learn and follow our rules there are no timeframes. 

  • Any appeals not using the correct title and template as shown above will be denied.

  • If you "bump" your appeal or keep asking when will i be unbanned we reserve the right to deny the request.

  • Any abuse towards an admin will result in a full community ban!

  • The appeal is for the person appealing and the admin team only, Anyone commenting on an appeal will receive a warning point

  • My Brother did it does not work here, Do not even bother using that excuse.

  • We are unable to unban anyone who has been banned with the reason "GameHack #38"

  • Any requests that have an admin response but the player hasn't responded after 2 days will be closed and if the player returns at a later date a new request linking the old one needs to be opened.
