Banned due to mis identification. (Unbanned 28/11/2014)

I can't really stick to the template due to the circumstances but here we are again. 

Long story short, I was banned because a guy by the name Chris (Also my name in game) stole a medics car. 

The admins will understand once they see this and I hope it's sorted out quickly.

Also, just some feed back,  couldn't you have messaged me on the forums asking me about it instead of banning me straight off of the bat? Chris is a common name (At this very moment there is another Chris online on the server). As I said before, I have limited time for games and something like this happens it really puts a damper on things.

EDIT: In review of what I said above, I realize that you wouldn't have known my identity on the forums to get in contact. Maybe you should look into making some sort of system as to where the users of the forums can input their GUID into a database and you can search this database to find unique players.

EDIT:

Again, on review of the ban request I actually found my GUID under a ban for VDM and I watched the video and I can 100% say that wasn't me. I really enjoy playing on this server and I'm by no means dumb enough to do something like that. When I say VDM I thought, Okay maybe I ran a guy over by accident or something. people seem to have a fetish for dancing in the streets in Altis but that guy takes the biscuit. Me and my friends play on this server a decent bit. My name is now changed to Christophe Bugavich... Hopefully this doesn't happen again

I dont mean to upset you but the admins tend to check the logs for when you logged off and stuff so i highly doubt they made a mistake bro

Why do random people feel the need to chime in on these ban appeals.

I don't mean to sound rude but you haven't a clue what you're talking about.



That is a link to the post where a "Chris" was reported. 

You can clearly see where Wilco posted both of our GUID's.

We were both banned because he didn't know which one did it.

EDIT:

It would seem I didn't know the full story myself but my above statement still applies.

Individuality is something you should consider as when someone with a common name is banned other players with the same name is banned to ensure we get the guy and it is all worked out at a later date.

Ensure you read our rules and post your GUID, not your Arma ID, for a final chance on the server.

I've read the rules numerous times and fully understand them.

Isn't what I posted above my GUID?

"One final chance" seems a bit harsh considering I didn't even break the rules. Why am I being treated like a criminal? I thought this was a friendly, adult community.

Same thing happened to me, best advice is just take it on the chin and get on with it, it'll be sorted.

Even though I'm happy with what my post is turning into, these are not the responses I was hoping for:p

EDIT: I honestly spent f30 seconds staring at the Samuel L. Jackson pic... What movie is that from? It looks so familiar
