Banned, didn't do anything wrong. (No headset to explain)

Just got home from work, logged in and got my truck from the garage and drove into town. Cop pulls me over and I don't have a headset so can't hear anything he's saying. My house mate and I (McClane) then get run over in the car lot, so I ran back to my truck in the car lot and get back in my truck. PCSO Coin probably thought I was stealing this truck as he takes me back out of my truck and bans me without an explanation. Just trying to play normally. Tried to talk on the direct text chat but no answer as I don't have a headset/mic for direct communication.

Just spent £120k on the truck and now I can't even join the sever.

So I had a chat with PCSO Coin after the event as I was one of the guys killed in the VDM frenzy. I think it was just a case of mistaken identity which got my mate Eliot banned, which PCSO Coin thought could have been the case. I can vouch for this player as he is my housemate. We're just looking to be part of the role play and we fully understand the rules.

So if you could please un-ban him that would be awesome.

I was present at the time and I do recall you asking the officer multiple times to type to you and also your friend saying it although he never.

I remember a guy being in that Zamak and running someone over however, I don't think it was you.

When you were banned I searched through the chat and it never shown that you killed anyone I might have it recorded so i'll check my footage tomorrow/tonight and hopefully I can help you out!

I've checked through the footage and from what i see it was mistaken identity like you said! I will try my best to upload it in the morning so the admins can look through it and hopefully resolve it for you. 

Sorry this happened to you tonight but Kavala is mayhem and the admins are dealing with trolls constantly so sometimes mistakes do happen.

Im not sure who banned you, but coin doesnt have powers even close to banning.

Whoever banned you was most likey acting on evidence or watched the whole thing in spectator mode.

I was there - I made the ban. I was run over by that Zamak A SECOND TIME. Once by the person who stole it, and then again by Eliot when he got into it after either Coin or myself had pulled out the first guy and dealt with him. I didn't die because I was in god mode, and was on the scene as Admin, not cop.

Certainly the original VDMer (who was banned) was a clear-cut case of deliberate VDM. However, the stupidity or deliberateness of Eliot's roadkill was the matter for question. Unfortunately what with him not being able to hear or speak in-game, and typing every few minutes, it was only a matter of time before this kind of situation occurred. I did warn him of the dangers of 'text only, no-hearing' roleplay when I encountered him some moments before.

I can possibly believe that Eliot did not INTEND to run me or Coin over, but he did a pretty good job of it, whatever his intentions. If it was because he couldn't hear us yelling at him to stop, instead of jumping in to a vehicle that had literally just been rescued from a thief and was technically in cops hands being processed at the time, I think he's rather negligent, whatever the actual intention.

When he can satisfy me that he has the equipment necessary to conduct at least half-decent verbal roleplay in something approaching real-time, I will consider unbanning him.
