Banned and cant submit appeal

Was playing on server 1 when me and my friend were asked to get out our trucks i said no and continued driving they guy then stopped in the middle of the road to shoot us my friend couldn't avoid him and i went off to the side i thought he was dead so i started driving again and hit him as he stood up so i started shooting next think i know we were both banned is this fair?
