Ban and unban handled by same person?

Hi,

I think its kind of weird that a ban and unban request can be handeled by the same admin.
Friend of mine got banned for "not roleplaying" (which is rly fking bullshit, what the hell would you do if you have a gun, and you see another guy in your own house?).

Then, the UNBAN apeal was handeled by the same person who banned him? i think this is quite lame, and shouldn't be allowed, as this admin already set the punishment on it.

Lame --> Yes
Unfair --> Yes

Next to that, losen up a bit, start a conversation instead of banning people without any information asked.

Request a different admin to process the appeal.

We have like 50,000 appealed bans. Why would admins spend their free time waiting and talking to each person? Break a rule? Your own fault. Get caught? Don't break a rule

Losen up a bit? How about your buddy reads & Obeys the rules instead,Its not the Admins job to waste his time with someone in game after the multiple notifications to read the rules,& besides no matter what admin would have handled that appeal the outcome would have been the same,It was your Friends obligation to make sure he was on the right channel, so in summary break a Rule & get Rekt.

Enjoy your stay.

(2.2) RDM - Random Death Match Definition: Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban) Doesn't say (punishment is a stern talking to)

Roleplay not Rifleplay

Admins dont hold grudges when they ban people? I dont see the difference between if the bannedthem or if they did not ban them!

Roleplay not Rifleplay
That is my favourite quote i've ever read on the forum.

you got a big +1 from me on that

Also this communities ruling is "ban first ask questions later"

Your time to explain yourself is when you're appealing, if there was no rules broken the ban wont hold against you.

As ridiculous as the appeal might be guys it raises a semi valid point, by default appeals should be handled by a different admin, surely thats the whole point of the appeal, a fresh set of eyes and unbiased perspective.

Thats like a doctor giving you a diagnosis then getting a second opinion from the same doctor. 99.99% of the time youre gonna get the same result even if the admin tries to forget their original decision.

Absolutely though, break rules get rekt.

If its a blatant violation and action was taken, I don't see it as an issue. I personally can remain impartial, if it something where some thought was put into it, usually the staff will say "Someone else please handle this."

I mean... not an admin... but I can handle the appeal for you...

DENIED

Seriously though... why is there an issue with it? I don't think admins hold a grudge against some hobo that VDM'd 50 people in kavala, or broke RP in the middle of a great RP situation... shit happens every day, not anything special, so I'm sure they can have fair judgement.

This is normally done but that majority of people who straight up lie on their appeals is crazy, sometimes we have to deal with the appeals our-self's due to witnessing the rule break :)
