They talked abit about this in the Apex video.

If im not mistaking 100% the server browser will auto download mods needed to play on a server.
Witch will make running a server with certain mods is way better for the user of the server.
No more browsing to DL stuffs ^^

I hope this works as awesome as planned!

Yeah, not sure how that works now.

Looking at, for example joining a Takistan server :

Yeah I tried to read abit on it now, but looks like it supports workshop. So mby that means that the mod needs to be on Workshop?

If you look at the 10 tings here it looks like its gonna support everything. But in the gif there its Workshop mods they show.
But if it needs to be on workshop I think most of the things will be there asap. Most of it is already there :)

Yeah.. Don't know how mods work serverside but if the mod is on the workshop and the server uses it from the workshop it would work.. if that makes sense.. no idea how these mods on servers work though.
