Arma sudden crashing

Arma has decided to be a cunt to me and has started crashing when you get to the menu. 5 secs in and it freezes.  i dont know if it has anything to do with bohemias recent update but any tips or fixes would be appreciated. It started just sudden and now its everytime

Try going into the settings tab on the left hand side of the launcher, and switching the architecture to 32 bit. If not, have a go at a Steam cache verify.

its weird because i have a 64 bit processor
