Arma Blackscreen

This has never happened before until the last week. Most of the time when I tab out to ts and  then tab back to game, the game is a Blackscreen. Any idea how to stop this? Hasn't been a problem form years until now...

Do you currently play on Full screen? If so put it down to FUll screen Windowed and you shouldn't have this problem, although this stopped for me (patched) with tanks DLC I thought.

this down to your ram usage when it peaks over 3gb for me any way

How much RAM do you have?? 4gb?

yeah 1 of my ram stick blew up like last month and i cba to replace it as am buying new one in about 3 weeks

@Smith Do you not get an Arma crash window appear when the game crashes? It often includes an error code that could hint at what the problem might be.

True you possibly might want to upgrade your ram
