I had to redownload my arma because there was something weird with battleye. When it's downloading it stop and an error pops up from steam saying : writing error disk

765 GB free space so i don't think so, i already deleted arma again and redownload didn't work, delete steam and downloading steam and arma , didn't work

Disk permissions perhaps stopping you from writing to the disk?

But if it's stop letting me writing on the disk, why does the download stop half way and not in the start?

Have you partitioned the drive/ do you have a different drive you could install it on?

@Zeito don't slack here!

@CantHandleMySwag

well spread the tech love, what did you do to fix it, if somebody else searches for the issue they then have a solution that they can try.

suggest you run a dskchk :)
nah...

his HDD was partitioned (likely OS and "Free space")... He probably had Steam installed on C: and didn't change it to install it's payloads on D:...

C: filled... D: was lonely...   chkdsk (never seen it used as dskchk ;D) would be a waste of time...

**Glances over to the other screen...** 51% complete stage 5 of 5.... Chkdsk progress over the last hour: 1%....  Fuck my life.   Arma is telling me I need a 3.6GB update before I can play... don't see any patches since the last time I played... something's fucky :'(.    Been trying to get all day.  There's a special place in hell reserved for the executives that have stifled broadband growth in the name of profit.

its always worth doing a diskcheck when errors occour lol, I would always suggest keeping backups when possible as well.

chkdsk, my only defence is alcohol, thank fuck for spellcheck
