ARMA 3 stopped working.

Over the last few days my game has been crashing mostly when I try to connect, but also at other random times. I've tried some other servers to see if that worked, and i can connect and play on them just fine.

I have desperately been trying to find a fix for this but so far nothing has worked. Does anyone know anything that could help me? Im at my wits end here.

 
I also have this problem, it's been bothering me for the last week perhaps. Usually it will be when trying to connect, between lobby and spawn select. After 5/6 tries (and strangely quitting spotify 'appears' to help), it will connect and work, with occasional crashes if I'm unlucky. They also appear to come in clusters, most days I'm fine then 3 or 4 will happen in a day. Strange.. I'll see if update has helped..

 
Exactly, between lobby and spawn select. But today I actually got to hear the beginning of the intro music, then bam crash to desktop. I'll try quitting spotify to see if that does anything. Thanks for the help!

 
Sometimes when loading into the game I get the windows 'Arma 3 Has stopped working' where you can select close or wait, ignoring the message for a few seconds seems to get it working again and spawns me right in, never had a problem with crashing in-game, just the usual frame rate drops every now and again (to which others see me as desyncing).

 
I had the exact same problems for month straight from buying my arma 3 copy. Went through things with the game makers and they said its because i had too many corrupt files in my arma 3 folder.

I don't have a problem with my Arma now and believe me ask anyone who knows me they know i had a tough time getting my arma to work.

What i done to fix the problem is very easy.

1) Delete Arma off your computer a long with any files you got of arma.

2) Reinstall the game again once you deleted it all.

3) once installed verify your game cache Via steam.

4) Via steam go to your arma 3 game and what you wanna do is back your game files up to a different folder on your pc.

Once your game has been backed up (freshly installed) you will always have a fresh uncorrupted copy on you back up file.

Now. My game did crash a couple times after doing this but all I had to do was install my backup files via steam arma 3 and it gave me that fresh copy back. It also only took a couple minutes.

Give it a try.

What if, ArmA 3 doesn't really exist and that you are talking to the same person who pretends to be different persons on the internet?

 
I actually got the same problem, sometimes need to try 3-4 times before i can join the server without my arma3 crashing.

When i try another server it works fine. Last couple day's it seems to crash more often then it usual does.
