ArmA 3 - Shooting from a car update

I think this absolutely has the potential to enrich the RP, however, the chances of that happening over it just being used to troll/kill with as little RP as possible are fairly low.

Maybe we will see a few less sports hatchbacks on the road in favour of the offroads.

 
I knew I couldn't conceal this information from the masses.(I've known for about two months.) We are all going to experience some good and some bad, may the report a player thread have mercy on your souls.

 
98% of the community is ready for this, its only the 2% that fucks it up for the rest :(

 
"new command enablePersonTurret" So at least we can disable it incase it gets used by trolls.

Between this and sling loading, I'm excited. Seeing as I already use lifter in single player, the shooting from cars will be at least be new and interesting.

Shame it will no doubt be taken away as freely as it was given due to a minority of fuckwits thinking "they gangsta'".

 
Well sounds reasonable enough for me, since this was what we did back in takistan on our special modified offroaders, but it would be great to see if it's only weapons up to a 6,5 mm, else it will be too concerning to chase one with a zafir on the back

I agree - But I think as soon as it's live we need to have some sort of announcement reminding people of the rules - otherwise kids are just going to be doing drive-bys.

Aside from that, it opens up some great RP opportunities.

call in an hummingbird, with 4 armed people on the side to disable an vehicle, would be nice :)

How do I put this...remember what happened when snipers were put in maby 3-4 months ago? Everyone thought it was awesome and in two days it was removed,because of fuckwits.(and hackers)

In this case RDM will meet VDM as people drive into a town,shoot at people and drive out making VRDMers hard to catch,so...it is 88%(don't ask, my stats are complicated) likely to be taken out within a week.
