Does anybody use any mods while on Altis Life UK (other than obviously ALUK). I'm looking at some sound mods and love how much more detailed they are than the default ones.

Also, as a general question, do mods work while on ALUK or not? I've not really tried it myself.

I'm more interested in sound modifications as, to my knowledge, ALUK doesn't use any sound mods? Unless the sirens are custom.

No sound mods are used, I am unsure where but I thought there used to be a rule about other game modifications being disallowed, but I could be wrong.

If the server doesn't have the correct 'keys' for the mod-pack you won't be able to connect to the server. For example if you installed JSRS it would give you an error and disallow you from connecting.

That was my second question. I'm unsure if you can.

Some servers do allow mods , but without them being needed as such

For example one server I played on allowed the use of JSRS , but was optional if you wanted to run it!
