Arma 3 crashing

Hi everyone, been having trouble playing Arma 3 for the past few days since I got back. My arma 3 keeps crashing now saying, "Cannot find the file specified" literally right after a black screen and pretty much just have to exit my game by task manager. So frustrating since I haven't even done anything. To make matters worse, I can't even launch Arma 3 from steam, I have to manually go to my drive to launch the application. I've looked around on the net for solutions but no one seems to have any. Perhaps you guys know of a way to fix it please? ):

Have you allowed steam to verify its cache ?

If that doesn't work then i would go for a uninstall - download - reinstall

If that doesn't work then sound the alarms, you have an issue
