Hello gentlemen,

It has come to my attention that a simple man such as myself and many others cannot make an honest living without being attacked or robbed almost every day. Therefore I have a come up with an idea of a merchant union.

The people in this union will not attack or rob anyone else in the union, and they will be safe from the gangs that we ally in order to go about or trading in peace.

Furthermore members will not commit illegal acts towards other humans such as robbery and car theft. Which will make other residents of Altis feel less nervous if approached by a member of the union.

Finally members will aid eachother in times of need and members who are robbed will tell the identities of the robbers so we can create a blacklist in order to increase personal safety.

Thank you for your time gentlemen, please tell me if anyone is interested in this concept as I would need members to make it effective and experienced staff to set it up and run it.

Well it will first become a "gang" (prefer union) if I see interest in this thread, also I will need someone experienced with gangs to help me, but I hope it will become a strong (economical) power on the island

 
Are you suggesting having 1 gang with many members, or getting lots of gangs together to form a union?

 
Both, one gang for simple merchants such as myself and my friends called something along the lines of "United Merchants" and then a union of gangs that promise no hostilities and helping eachother be it economically or other called the "Merchant Union"

 
A union or coalition is a great idea and would certainly benefit the members who join. Good luck with it, I hope you can make it a success.

Hey bud,

I've been on the server long enough to know who you should trust and distrust.

The first thing I would do would be to message @Hatchingdragon about forming an alliance with AEGIS.

Aegis is a large gang on the island focused almost entirely on legal activities, and offering protection (for free) to those people who are doing legal activities. I would be more than happy to message these people on your behalf.

The next thing you should do, is keep your forum post, but add a comment asking any gang leaders that are interested in this coalition to send you a message on the forums.

The last thing would be creating a team speak channel ( an admin will do this for you if you have over 8 members in your gang) that's open to the public to be used for legal group organizing. Such as finding partners to do oil or salt with.

As a member of the police, I can tell you that if you get your name out there as a nice guy with good roleplay and willing to help the police, We will come to your aid every single time we can. Trouble makers tend to get ignored ;-)
