Anyone got a pet snake?

As the title states, has anyone got a pet snake?

there's a reptile shop near me with the coolest little corn snake hatchling and I'm considering getting him, but I'm a little reluctant! 

Anyone got any experience with them? Think a pet snake would be wicked as long as they're not vicious little cunts! But I've heard they're fairly docile!
