So far I made subtitles, but I had this idea, that since this community is based on people using mic, maybe some of you would not mind doing the narration in this video?

Seems a good project, what kind of voices are you looking for? Young, deep, etc? 

We have a bunch of good voices around the community!

I'm tagging people that might help you with either voices or video ideas:

@Unlucky George@Stoneman@Vladic Ka@Randomized@DainMK@MrCheeand his brothers (vietnamese voices?).

I know i'm forgetting alot of people, but the community will chip in with other names!

Preferably fitting to the black guy with the ear. So not childish and then...any voice would be a bonus for me and for the video :D 

 
If you hook up a little online script and what you imagine the characters to sound like I could throw my input in if you need it.

 
I would chose either;

@Randomized for a hardcore voice

@Ponty (please say it's you) for an excellent mickey mouse cover

theres more but I can't remember their names!

there is like only one character talking - the narrator. He is supposed to say what the subtitles says. 

("This man...

is being held as a hostage in a Vietnamese camp.

But do not worry. We are here to rescue him.

We came from the jungle and the sniper took the first shots.

However, it showed up, that they were expecting us.

We had to run.

It was (all) going as planned.

You know...we were expecting them to expect us.

However, it showed up...that they were expecting us expecting them to expect us.

You know....

we didn't expect that.

Even though it is too late for us, they can now expect this."

The lines are not strict, it is the first that came to my mind when I was making that. If you can do that with a tough voice, that could be great. 

If anybody can do that with any voice, that would be great :D

:D I didn't expect to encounter such a high level of possibilities here. Great :)

Preferably the American, I consider the British one to be whinier. However, the creative freedom is indeed there :)

 
chuck the video into drop box, people can download, and make auditions, then just choose what you think is best

I like your voice :D However, there are two problems: 

There are like 8 guys, not 3 (later in the video they appear)

and...

your narration changes the point of the video.

The point of the video so far is, that the US guys expect the Vietnamese to expect them while rescuing the hostage. That is why they prepare the ambush behind the river (in your narration I miss the reason, why there are suddenly so much of the US guys coming from the tall grass.). The V. however, are one step ahead and they expect being expected by the US so they also prepare an ambush for the ambush (the trucks).

I like your voice anyway and I might use it with some adjustments in the video. Now I have some worky work to do so I never hurry with these projects and I will wait for the Millerr if he wants to do his try :) Thanks anyway :D
