Another restart time

I've noticed recently and im assuming its from a fivem/cfx update that cars both local and player owned are smashed up and left abandoned around the city often in the middle of the road or next to the wall that they smashed into 

also some of the ingame systems for example inventory or job systems like the impound and flatbed systems are very temperamental/laggy during the day

now im no expert on the matter but usually after a restart the systems tend to not be as moody and work well so i would like to suggest a second restart that would make it have 2 restarts a day so 8am and 8pm

 
Would definitely be a great idea! There has been a restart today around 14:00 because of a hacker and after restart everything was running much smoother.

 
I think this is a good idea to have more than one restart. I also would like to see the evening restart be a little earlier. I feel 8pm is 'prime time' for people to be on the server, and so it can often disrupt scenarios etc. Would people be in favour of an earlier restart? Perhaps 4pm? That way the evening's RP won't be disrupted again by a restart until 4am, where server numbers would be lower. Open to feedback/tweaking in regards to times - It's just a thought I've had for a while.

 
Any updates for this, now that restart time has changed still think its needed 🙂

Uhh sure, I don't see why not if that is what people want. We moved the restart time from 8 to 4 (away from peak time) however I'd be open for another early morning restart?

I have just accepted a few suggestions and am working on a few bits backend to cleanup the server as time goes on, do we want to wait until these are implemented in the next update(or so) and see where we are from there?

 
At the moment we WILL NOT  be adding an automated restart,

As everyone has noticed we have been having some big issues needing regular restarts, BUT sometimes it is after one hour and sometimes it holds out for 16 or so.
For the mean time we will keep it controlled manually to make the impact for player minimal.

All staff and devs now have the ability to restart the server, and thanks to Jaffa  we have some discord alerts setup to tell us when the server is struggling to keep up.


In the mean time we have called in the big guns @Ciaranto help us combat the issues causing the most of these issues.

Moving to Rejected (for now). 

p.s. After all these fixes are applied we will reevalute the need for an extra restart.
