Another headset issue

Brought some Razer Kraken pros after my other headset had broken audio. After a few weeks of use my mic is now not picking my voice up. Any help is appreciated

Any drivers? 

Checked the cable to see if it's dodgey?

Turned off the 7.1 surround or whatever if it has it?

Is the mic set as the default mic in your audio settings?

What he said. First check would be making sure device is set as default and that it picks up sound when looking at it in recording devices. If it's not there or doesn't pick up, then the real troubleshooting begins.

I've tried everything you've said weirdly my mic would pico up taps on the mic to start off which then later turned to it not being able to detect anything so I may have to re turn my headset once again if they'll take it back again

make sure you have unticked devices can automatically adjust this device and also untick automatic voice gain control in TS
