Altis UNMC Referendum

The time has come to make a change. As you are all aware, us hard-working civilians of Altis have been pushed around and hassled by these bandits know as the United Non-Conformist Military Corps (UNMC) that are a growing tumor in our land.

I believe it is time to hold a referendum to allow the civilians of Altis to have a voice in the current affairs of the UNMC borders, which are unnecessary and purely a pointless barrier that slows down the trades market, causing government workers even less of a wage as the economy is falling harshly due to the inconvenience of UNMC.

They have taken our holy land from us, using it as a military facility, killing farm land along with the wildlife of Altis!

We need to make a change, so vote for the UNMC borders to be removed. For Altis, and for our holy land!

It's just a pity that the citizens of Altis don't get to vote in the non existent voting system the UNMC have in place.

Unless the government want to come and re-annex the land.

Which they don't.

I don't see the problem with the unmc. I thought about going 'missing' so the government can't find me (just an elaborate scheme to sit in my holiday home in sofia for a bit and not tell anybody where i went)

To the castor of the Vote!

The lands of the United Non-Conformist Military Corps have a border for the following reasons:

  • They belong to us.
Any referendum held on the Queensland will have no affect on the presence of our checkpoint. You have no obligation whatsoever to use our Blackmarket dealer or our Drug Dealer, but when doing so, you must pay a small fee, or 'tax'  due to the following:

  • When in our lands, we ensure the following rules are followed -


    The public display of firearms in official UNMC checkpoints and bases is prohibited.
  • Burglary is not allowed.
  • Grievous bodily harm is not allowed.
  • Steal of, and from vehicles is not allowed.
  • Murder and manslaughter are not allowed and are both punishable under by death.
  • Armed robbery is not allowed and is punishable by death.
  • Blocking roads, also know as "Roadblocks", and the use of items dangerous to traffic, for example Spike-strips, is not allowed.

Enforcing these laws can be an enduring task, that eats away at precious time and resources. We are, most of the time, unable to go out and make money of our own, so a small tax at the border is in place to ensure everybody is safe and sound within our lands. The chances of losing a HEMMT Box full of Cocaine to armed rebels is significantly lower than, let's say, in Kavala.

To add, the APD has no jurisdiction within our lands, and as Drugs are perfectly legal past our border, they can do 'jack shit'  to drug traffickers once through the checkpoint. 

Unlike the Police, we do not arrest or detain drug traffickers, we do not confiscate small, or large quantities of drugs, we simply ask for a mandatory payment of protection. Don't make us out to be the bad guys, when really, all we do is stay in our lands and make sure people can sell drugs, and buy weapons in peace. 

Fuck it, come and take it back.

I voted for the UNMC to remain, I will also add placing a drug dealer up in their lands and one of the black markets is a excellent decision this can only be seen as a good thing for the server as it creates more opportunities to RP which can only be a good thing.

If i'm honest i never really went up there before but since the new changes have come into play i have enjoyed the encounters with these guys up at the border (apart from when they were going to put me in prison )

Either way love the new map changes and i love the border long may it remain.

so which member of the unmc slept with your wife then ?, as for a referendum do you think the unmc care what the outcome would be, know one would be brave enough to try and take it back after all do you think all out war is what this island needs? because if it happens it wont be the unmc that suffers , think about it carefully or you may just find your self knee deep in concrete being tossed from a boat

 
Somehow I feel the OP boils down to: I don't want to RP but just be able to gear up and sell drugs with the least amount of contact with other players. (but by all means correct me if I'm wrong)

 
The UNMC have always been pretty trigger happy but i've only had good experiences with them and I like the idea of the border and the whole UNMC VS Police thing..

When you think about it. All the unmc is are a white listed rebel gang, just with better rp. Tell me a rebel gang that doesn't like killing people, there is not many because we all love a bit of shooting now and then. I myself have never had a gun fight or anything like that because it always comes down to rp with them, and i dont think i would want to fight them ah. Personally i think the UNMC is a fucking great thing. they only own the top half of the map. Before the map changes they didn't get much traffic threw that border but now with the new changes they get a ton with the blackmarket and drug dealer which is a good thing. 

The UNMC are great. Like haywire said i have had only had good experiences with them. They are really good at Role Play and this is a great opportunity for people to interact with them. They only people that will have a problem with this is people who just want to farm and dont care that much for having some RP with someone and the people that just want to gear up and do their own thing. I like the whole fact of them owning that land and they rule it. ps. also you said lets save the holy land. I would much rather be in UNMC land where is nice and peaceful than in kavala where it is a huge shit storm if a hobo gets a gun XD

I tried to skip the border once and literally within seconds of landing my helicopter I had a UNMC hatchback sport, ifrit and helicopter pulling up on me from all directions. I didn't fly off cuz it looks so awesome.

Honestly, I wish the police acted like that when they responded to situations. So yeah, I got lots of respect for the UNMC

If you want the land back go take it back but i am sure there will be abit more than just UNMC there to help ;)
