Dear Citizens of Altis,
After numerous complaints of the poor safety and security of the Altis Reactors (Uranium Refinery) the Specialist Protection Group and National Health Service will be joining forces again in the attempts to survey the area. There have been complaints of leaking radiation coming from the southern reactor and the Altis Environmental Institute has reported some species of animals having adverse effects. Such as, the rabbit population has now doubled and many of these rabbits now have an extra toe. Many civilians who have also been around the area have reported symptoms of acute radiation poisoning at their local hospitals and it has become and ever increasing issue for the NHS to deal with. Additionally, both reactors are overdue for replacement uranium as the current supplies are dwindling and some remote areas around Altis have reported power outages due to low supply. To tackle this issue a new supply of uranium is being shipped in tomorrow by plane ready for the SPG to escort to the power station.
On the 21st of February @ 20:00 GMT the Specialist Protection Group and National Health Service will be replacing the current uranium stores, surveying the area to check for safety concerns and disposing of the old uranium in the Kavala Bay. The NHS will also be conduting random checks on people in the Kavala area for radiation poisoning and will be setting up a post in the Kavala hospital ready to treat those affected. If you do report any of the symptoms as listed below in the graphic please visit the Kavala hospital immediately.
Sorry in advance for any inconveniences or disruption caused by the escort and we thank you for your cooperation. Additionally, all travels back and forth from Malden are now permitted again after the Malden Virus has been contained in Malden as well.
Signed,Chief Inspector Ace J HunterChief Of Specialist Protection.
