We are switching to our own version numbers to keep track internally of where we are at so a warm welcome to Altis Life UK 4.0

TinyBigJacko has a lot of custom code, this has just been complemented by some awesome code Ciaran has worked on and rewritten (Our dev from Takistan Life)

TinyBigJacko hasn't been around lately, I believe he is busy working on real life work so has not had the time to work on our update, Its clear we need an update our stable 3.1.2 has been outdated by Tonic.

What we didn't want to do is rush out the default standard version like a few new servers have done... its buggy it needs a lot of work, You can see that by all the comp requests on those newbie servers.

You can see the features that will be included in 4.0 from the now cancelled 3.1.4 update here - 

Along with those features you will find the following in Altis Life UK 4.0

  • Casino (Yes we are having our own Casino with Jackpot that keeps going up until won)
  • Cartel Boat Wrecks ( Completely custom and exclusive to AltisLife.co.uk, Ciaran has wrote this code from scratch - You can go searching/diving for drug boats once sank by the British army - More details soon)
  • Surrender Action (if your surrounded, You can just surrender with Shift + X)
  • Zipties ( You can tie and escort people if you have captured someone)
  • Map Change - Currently working on a map change, Will hopefully be made in time for the release
  • Rule update - Shortly after release we will review and change the rules.

That's it for now, I can tell you that this is being worked on hard behind the scenes and we are pushing for a update around this weekend, More details will follow.

This version looks much better 

However a quick question, liking the zipties idea, guessing you will only be able to ziptie someone if he has already used the surrender action, am I wrong?

Get in ! I remember making a post about zip ties when I first joined and the cartel and casino custom files sound amazing

 
I hope to see some people just surrender when they know they are out numbered and that includes cops! It will just open role play to a whole new level!

The ziptie option is great also for when rebels take hostages! Ahhh all this is very exciting and I cannot wait!

Oh and the casino option is mind blowing!

Best server and best community in the world!

 
I am hoping everyone enjoys it :)

On a sidenote, NHS applications will open tomorrow :)

 
+1 for the Hype, Its going to be good Put this community on top and make it Harder and harder to actually get on the server because it so full ;)

 
This does look awesome indeed! But depends on how long we need to wait :/ Maybe more devs?
