Today's forum upgrade contains Achievements for AltisLife.co.uk

All current Achievements can be viewed HERE.

More Achievements will be added as time goes on and of course if and when they are needed.

The Post count Achievements are automagicly awarded so for example if you have already reached 100 posts then when you next post that award will be awarded, The rest of the achievements are manually given out meaning manual work from myself (Please be patient)

Donation ones will be awarded from now on, If you have already donated then you missed out however when you re-donate next month you will be awarded the achievement.

We also have a Xmas Achievement if you make one post between now and December 31st you will be awarded this, Also an Xmas Donator Achievement for donators who donate between December 18th and December 31st.

There are also a number of other one off Achievements, we will post details on how these can be earned in the coming days.

The Achievements also display in your forum profile (see mine here) and on the post sidebar (check to the side of this post under my username etc.)

Hope you enjoy and good luck earning them all!

Gotta admit, the nhs seems to have been forgotten about again.

A medic of the month would be nice.

 
Hm then here's a short list haha:

NHS public forum (before the staff room and applications)

Channel Admin for lionel and myself for the NHS ts sections

CMO ts tag to allow entry to admin rooms again

NHS content update (we really need something now. It's been nearly 3 months since our update was due. Even if it's just the Vehicles that have been skined. Were losing members and interest rapidly)

Helicopter npc on kavala hospital roof

Mental health Institute

NHS dp missions in the form of blood/organ transportation

Feedback/implementation of suggested change to NHS revival policy

Bonuses:

NHS moderator powers, even if limited to NHS forum section

NHS in-game admin to assist the NHS and investigate incidents around medics.

I understand that's quite a list but it's been building up over many months now ;)

I'm sorry, although I'm all up for NHS updated and firmly support the idea of getting them some love, I've got a few gripes with this.

There should be no need for an NHS forum mod, I'd expect all NHS staff to be mature in their ways and not misuse the forums. In regards to the NHS in-game medic, that feels like you're implying there is a police in-game admin and a rebel in-game admin, to which there is not - My ingame admin duties come before being a rebel and I sure hope your fellow NHS'ers would agree that I'm more than happy to sit inside of a medic channel whenever needs to help ensure their safety.

Perhaps we could post a suggestion list as discuss it further there?

Mod powers are not for moderating losts/threads. But for stickying and editing things.

The in game admin again isn't so much because there's a police, rebel and umnc admin. But as head of the NHS, it only makes sense for medics to approach myself to resolve issues. When I'm not on sure try and get in touch with someone else.

And I do feel the NHS get left out. We don't have an admin presence. We don't really get any input to changes. Nor do we get updated with progress/server changes related to us. We want to make an impact and be a significant source of entertainment and role play for the community. But right now, rebel gangs have more impact than us.

 
"Mini-Mod" status should be given to each head of faction and supervisor of faction, it's rather odd that Sean can't even sticky threads in his own faction's forum area. It's something lots of other forum websites do, we need to keep up with the times

How about asking a forum mod to sticky & edit, we are all here to do a job and when people suggest there should be more of us, it concerns me that we aren't doing that job.

The staff are here, to you it may make sense to contact yourself, but to me, it makes sense to contact the nearest possible admin (server or in game) through admin request feature. Hell, I've even told your guys if they ever get in trouble to contact me direct, regardless if it's a poke, message or asking someone in PLF.

I appreciate the NHS is lacking features, but to give someone admin because of that doesn't feel like the kind of features the NHS could role play with. If gangs are having more input than you, it's only you who could change that, fantastic role play does not come out of features.

The feature situation is a separate topic really, and we do have fantastic RP. But we have to fight tooth and nail against the community every day to get it. It shouldn't be that difficult. We're not seen as a major input, just people in the background you sometimes run into. 7/10 revives, people stop us reviving at gun point. probably 50% of those successful revives, the other person just wants to/does run off and we talk to them for 10 seconds. They barely rp with us.

They expect us to be there to revive them all the time, everytime. Yet most hit "Request EMS" then respawn as we arrive. Others prevents us from reviving then moan when we can't revive them when other people do it to them. 

And asking for our topics to get edited and stickyed is tedious and irritating. If I'm at work or out I can't ask things to get done. And as pointed out, as the head of a whole faction which is suppose to be on par with UMNC and Police, the fact I can't do it does make me and others upset. 

We all appreciate the hard work the admin team does. We really do and you were actually thanked by name along with steph and Joe, a few weeks ago in out meeting. I don't want to seem ungrateful because we do really appreciate the work. But everyone else has an easier, and faster and more direct method of getting things done and resolved that's more in-line of the chain of command. 

UMNC has their admins, Police have Maratek, Neo and even the SI's to a lesser degree. It's not outrageous or even un-becoming to ask that the other "major faction" have similar tools. Yes we can we ask other people to resolve problems. But then I'm out of the loop. I don't know what happens to my team. The chain breaks. Is there a good reason why each faction shouldn't have an admin to assist them? Is there a reason each faction shouldn't have admin level representation to offer input and advice on the server direction?

Looking at what we can use, for the benefit of everyone, is how we as a server and community can grow to become better and stronger. 

I've probably de-railed this topic enough so I'll stop :p But I really hope you guys consider what's been said. And as always, thanks for the updates.
