All Servers Are 300+ ping but internet is fine and everything works (PLS HELP)

i just got on and for some reason my ping is on 300 for all servers?! usually on altis 1 i get 80 ping but now its telling me 300 anyone have any idea what happened?

My ping has been fine. It is the communication from the game server to your ISP I believe, or something along those lines. 

I find if I get ping issues, I turn my internet router off for 30 seconds and back on and restart my PC. This usually helps issues like that. Give it a try and see if it helps.

Hello! I got one question, are you maybe running any programs in the background of your computer that could cause this problem?

As Masis said are you running any background programmes? I.e Chrome for instance?? Also what @Lincoln posted helps for some people. Give both a go and let us know if it fixes it!

I had skype on at the time, but the problem i think was it displayed 300 ping but it really was 80. After consecutive tries and trying to log in it worked and i got 80 ping which was good.

@Laith I think that was the problem then indeed. It says 300 ping for me sometimes as well but it would end up being no were close to that. I just ignore it all the time. If you do get any more issues feel free to post here, or come on teamspeak to the support rooms. Have fun!

2.  Do you have any network 'priority' programs active? If so - disable.
