Hey guys/gals!

Just curious if any of you do Airsoft? I just started up a while ago doing Milsims, last one being Op:Justify with Airborne Airsoft in an old SAS training ground.

It's great fun, can be very physical and also very tactical! Next one I'm doing is Op: Menace with Airborne again on July 30th @ Longmoor :D

I do Airsoft

M4's broken and my headset's dissapeared so now I have a useless radio

I do milsim, but I'm broke atm using money for other things than airsoft. should start again when I get myself a job

plenty of fun

Mine AK is the 2nd from the right(tho only one that looks like real AK 74m)

Last MilSim i participated in was Balkan wars themed ops(in Poland ofc).We had good old soviet military vehicles on use, even the BMP(unarmed tho)

I seriously want to do this, seeing as I'm broke as fuck, there aren't many places for it in Manchester and I have no form of transport to get elsewhere, I've had to stop before I even started....

Hopefully When I've in full time employment I'll be able to get into it, it looks great!

Be prepared, it is expensive as fuck

for my current setup I've used well around 800 pounds

but one huuuuge protip: Buy from Poland alot cheaper (and do it while you still are "in EU") and don't buy an airsoft gun without me approving of it because especially when buying from poland, a few euro and the manufacturer makes a huge difference quality and performance wise :)

Im selling my airsoft gear but im in america and shipping is expensive as fuck.

Don't you dare saying shipping is expensive

compared to how much cheaper it is in the US the shipping is no problem, the real problem is customs lol

I find it hilarious that anyone in the west is recommending buying in Poland, anyway yes,we've very cheap guns and few pounds in UK make a drastic price tag change in Poland due to Pound-->PLN course, also is it true that in UK you need special permissions and dedicated sites to play airsoft?

Yeah they need a special permit issued by the site they play on, a bit extreme tbh but hey ho what works for them

And yes I recommend buying in Poland because compared to stores in the rest of europe they have the *highest* quality replica stuff, and they sell some very good brands for very good prices, compared to Denmark you can save up to 60% by buying it from poland.

@DI TampaxI'm based in Birmingham, we usually take 2 cars to whatever site we go to. As I mentioned to an ex player here and long time gaming buddy
who lives in Manchester, to get a train to Brum then hop along with us. To start off, you can hire gear from the event host for £20. I would advise to buy
some clothing/boots from a military surplus store beforehand that as they only supply overalls for hire.

My work colleague got me into it, himself and another chap are both ex military (served in Afghan) so it gets pretty tactical :D

We are currently trying to build up a pretty decent team, have around 6-8 folk so far, but the more the merrier!
