Air Taxi Agains the Rules

Hi everyone I was just wondering, the new taxidriver rules says:

9A) Taxi Driver’s must be using the Taxi while they are performing Taxi Driver duties.

I recently started using my M-900 for the taxiing purposes as it was much quicker to get to the customer and take them to their destination. So does this mean that with the new rule I cannot use my helicopter anymore? Anyway I think that the real custom taxi M-900 should be added.

That does mean you can not use it anymore, yes.

In that case i think there should be some more work to be done on the rules as this isnt the way it should be.

It's a shame, because I used to use my huron as an air taxi an it made my customers very happy

I did charge a little bit more for "VIP Service" though

How often to you call your local taxi firm and a chopper lands next to you?

Allowing helicopters to be used as Taxis encourages them to land illegally in built up areas, not only breaking the law but making RP very difficult for others.

If someone calls a taxi, I send them a message back along the lines of.

"Hello sir, thank you for contacting Altis Air Taxi service. A luxury air taxi has been dispatched to your position and will be arriving soon."

I don't reply to calls in populated built up areas.

What if instead of taxi server rules, we made it illegal in server laws to run an unlicensed taxi/chauffeur service.

The other question is what if using the air transportation is a private transaction, and doesn't go through the taxi profession?
