Age for staff?

So yes i did read the requirements for staff applications, and Yes it states 18 Years old. But my main question is, is it like Police/Poseidon/NHS where exceptions are made and 18U become staff members? Example I turned 17 On the 21st of November, and i do a staff app and example everything is ok EXCEPT the age is at 17, does staff make exceptions or not?

ill tell you what i know ....or at least what i think i know !

The exceptions for u16's in factions only applies to those already in the faction before the rule was put into place.

The rule is in place to protect young members and the community from any negative repercussion that would occur from any incident that may occur.

The requirements for staff are 18+ and i can see why this would need to be the case. Staff deal with issues of an adult nature and things that can have real life consequence such as legal issues etc. there are inner workings that for data protection reasons etc need to be kept in-house and in order to legally enforce that i would imagine they would have an agreement with staff members in some form of non-disclosure agreement . such things are not binding for those not over 18. 

(this is all my opinion , i do not know these things for sure) 

i would not apply for staff until you are 18 , i would take the time until then to establish yourself in the community , get a good reputation , and then when you are of age apply.

you dont need to be staff to be a helpful member of the community.

There has been exceptions in the past based on maturity and experience. Not to forget the value one may bring. Other than that if you don’t have any of these qualities while being under the minimum expected requirement expect to reapply in the coming years.

No exceptions are made in all whitelist factions if you are not 16 you can not enter the faction. The only reason why there might be an under 16 in the faction is that they joined before the rule was put in place.

Taken from staff application. Basically, you can join when under 18 but only if invited.
