Active gunfight

This is a general question.

If you are in a active gunfight (there are still shots getting fired) and you see an SUV driving and it stops next to the body's. You're initiater got killed and you have no way of telling anything to that SUV driving. He is running around and stealing stuff from the patato sacks. Are you allowed to shoot multiple time NEXT to time as warning shots and if he doesen't go away are you allowed to kill him than?

Attempted RDM really but... If he is armed in an active gunfight then go ahead and shoot him and its his fault because there's no way for you to know hes not involved (he might be)

If he's unarmed then picks up a gun you can sort of shoot him as well but I would still try and get close enough to initiate if I had the choice.

If he's unarmed, leave him to it unfortunately. All kills should take place in high quality RP if possible so you shouldn't shoot unless you see a good reason to. Warning shots aren't a thing you can do unless its a helicopter as it is simply attempted RDM.

Ok thanks for the quick response !

IF the guy is looting Sacks,At least attempt to yell something at him,Maybe to leave,Put down his weapon, hands up,something at least giving him a opportunity to value himself or maybe rethink his current actions, leads to alot better chances for RP then just capping a fool.

Pretty hard to yell when you're +800 meters away and the initiater is dead. That's why we fired warning shots

The rules around it are fuzzy. I will say if you're in an active gunfight with the police rather than a gang then shooting hobos is a no no, however at the same time people aren't exactly valuing their lives when they're driving around in an active gunfight and having bullets whizzing over their head. It is a problem and technically a form of meta gaming since they know that the rules are protecting them.

I hadn't seen the distance,It's a risky area,Use your best judgment here & if things go awry,Work it out in TS,We are all adults here & Fully understand Mistakes can happen.

If bullets are wizzing left right and centre and a person decides to drive up in the middle of it to have a good luck at take some wounded rebels hard earned apples, they are going to get shot, no two ways about it, Valuing your life means showing fear in death no sane unarmed person would sit in the middle in the middle of a warzone and have a good rifle through my hello magazine I keep for quiet periods at our checkpoint. Its not realistic or believable and pretty poor to expect not to be shot.

In my opinion.
