+1 The fact that you have to make somewhat of an effort to get unbanned is good, I'm fairly new here and this has probably been discussed in the past, but personally I wouldn't mind that you had to prove you know the rules, get a user, then join. F**** annoying when you get RDM'ed, even more so when the guy have no interest in playing other than trolling and probably don't care about being banned either.Tbh, I like it this way. Keeps the every day trolls away. Ban them when they break a rule, if they wanna keep playing they will most likely get another chance, this time they have read the rules 100% and therfor there's a higher chance that it wont happen again. If it does, they will have to make another appeal and its gonna be much harder for them to get another chance.
SoI mean, Perm bans are only if someone has done something very bad or they have been banned for the same thing continuously and is still getting banned. 6 months gives them time to think about what they can do and they also miss out good stuff that the server does E.G Updates.

So if I don't get my unban appeal accepted I just wait 6 months because I got banned for mass vdm and I really miss going on the serverI mean, Perm bans are only if someone has done something very bad or they have been banned for the same thing continuously and is still getting banned. 6 months gives them time to think about what they can do and they also miss out good stuff that the server does E.G Updates.

U can appeal your ban after 6months and if you fail I think you can appeal after a cooldown. So

If I'm honest They are Lucky people who break rules Should be Out of This Community PermeantTbh I think 2 week and month bans should be put in place, because lets be honest - 6 is a bit much
I have a friend who duped once and he has got a 6 month ban currently, it's been about 4 and trust me he has learnt his lesson
True tbhOh no.. not another temp ban suggestion..
Basically; what do you ACTUALLY learn knowing that you can come back in X amount of days? The message says 'Banned for X on Y date, you can return on Z date' so you just play elesewhere, gets to that date and come back. What was the point in the ban? Surely you'll just come back without reading the rules and without being tested by a staff member to see if you have actually learnt and developed from it. The whole point of a ban in most cases is to stop you before you break a rule that gets you gone for 6 months and make sure the impact on the community is minimised. It actually does You a favour.
Therefore, no. Temp bans do not work.
