Be like this person! @NotBailey
Robbing, murdering and capturing a new player/hobo can be fun, but see it from their eyes, would you want to keep playing if you were ziptied and used as a hostage for a bank robbery for 2 hours?
Instead take them along to rob the bank with you, lend them a truck and take them on a run, use them for nefarious purposes that they'll enjoy!
I remember one of my first experiences here, I was doing a copper run in my zamak and @SALV and the copper kings turned up to try and rob me but seeing my truck full of copper they instead escorted me to the processor, after I'd processed they left me to it and told me to call if I needed help. As I went to sell my copper some baddies turned up, I shot Salv a text when I realised I was being followed. As I stood at the metals trader in zipties, my truck being lockpicked and a gun to my head the copper kings descended and put the miscreants in their place.
That one event led me to want to keep playing leading to today when I fill the role as a staff lead. So thank you @SALV, this is known as 'the butterfly effect'. Eve online made a video about this over 10 years ago now and I honestly think this applies greatly to our community, give it a watch:
(don't play eve online, it'll suck the life out of you and spit you out as a bitter old person)
