So since I have the ability to play as a cop AND a medic, if I go to Civs, I have to disregard names for police and medics, even though I know OOC who they are? Is this correct.

Situation;

I, Dr. Burton, am with Dr. Alpha. I explain to Dr. Alpha I will be going to the Civs to play. I disconnect and reconnect. When I am playing as Jason Burton, I see Dr. Alpha. Do I call him by his name, or disregard the fact I know him.

I am pretty sure I just disregard names, however I want to be clear on the situation.

 
I'd be under the impression, if you're playing as an off-duty medic or police officer, you would be permitted to call you those colleagues by their name, however I'll leave this to someone inside of the police/medic to answer.

Yeah, I just don't want to eventually play again and make another silly mistake like the last one  :unsure:  !

it's that way in the police force, you're still living the same life, you're just off duty, so you know everything you would as a cop, but without a lot of the jurisdiction.

 
Same for medics, if you would like to interact as a colluege then feel free.

If you do so your interactions will be remembered as a off duty medic though e.g. You deny medical treatment to a hostage etcetera etcetera

But feel free to rp that you are completely separate people

 
i play it that if my civ name is different to my cop name (im called PCSO Dentibus and hav civ name of Owly McHootyface) Then as a civ i would not know who any of the cops are

but if i play on my Civ as Dentibus then i would know cops but it all depends if the cop/nhs staff knows who you are because there is quite a few of them

 
As a cop you have to obey the law though regardless of name

 
Correct Lionel. Him changing his name is basically a new character BUT since police rules say that he cannot as a police officer break laws. In a rp way he "moved" from another country where he is a police officer or that he got his name changed etc.
