A Question Regarding Rules

When someone is trying to rob you or the police is trying to arrest you and they say: put your hands up or you will be shot, do I have to respond to that before shooting them? Because it puts me at a disadvantage if I have to announce that I will shot and they already have a gun on me. Can I just start running around and shoot first if they threaten me first? And than roleplay after the fight is over.

If they are behind a wall I will say I'm not going down without a fight, but when they are waiting for you in a building or near the ATM and say hands up or you will be shot and don't turn around, can I just burst them before saying anything and then roleplay? This would make it harder for the robbers to rob ppl 1 on 1. I always used to put my hands up, but it's annoying if you try to do 5 runs and they rob you 5 times in a row. I want to have a chance to defend myself and that is not possible if I have to say I'm gonna shoot before turning around.

Not sure as to the actual rules, but earlier today this came up as a colleague in the police force told a rebel running about agios to put his weapon away and put his hands on his head and was shot immediately along with the other officer following him. some clarifications on initiating and when it is ok to defend yourself/open fire would be nice. at the minute it would seem that once one side has initiated, the opposing side has been given the all clear to open fire at any time.

To put it simply, saying "Put your hands up or you will be shot!" is poor role play/RDM if the player starts shooting you.  Just read rule (2.2).

Yes, you are allowed to shoot first in a defensive hostile situation without the need of saying you are going to shoot them but always try your best in every situation to give good role play before shooting and after as well.

Basically if someone threats you and doesn't give you enough time to comply it would be RDM.

There is a lot more to answer about all these questions, every situation is different we could be here for talking about it for days. As a new player I would suggest applying for a gang on here on the forums. Being apart of a gang should help with learning the ropes of this server.
