Is anyone on RPUK decent at 3D modeling for vechile and that cos trying to get into it , it just aint likeing me at the minute

Hey, i am no where near "decent" its more of a hobby for me.

What program you using?

You want to find some resources for modeling. i.e. tutorials ect.?

im trying to make a certain ambulance but i cant get anywere near where i want to get out of it and im using blender dk any other program

@LtTeabag

Blender is a good program to use.

few questions and ill see if i can help.

how much have you used blender?

How well do you know the tools within blender?

whats the problem you are having with the model at the moment?

maybe a screenshot? with a reference?

What trouble are you having? Making a vehicle is easier with a referance image printed into the scene, and using the extrude tool to model the basic shape, then simply add detail.

Its a rather large learning curve, perhaps invest in an official online class, Ive heard they are really good.

@INS Harvey your speaker jiberish to me now lol , im not that great with 3D modeling but am keen to learn on it and @LtTeabag im wanting to learn it properly so i can make some good content for arma 3 but the youtube videos on tutorials are shit and basically tell you nout about the program and on how to use it etc..........................

Well i made a small cell thing from pissing around on it and it just hates me with it lol

You will probably find it hard to find a specific tutorials on what you want to do.

you'll need to start with basics and get used to using the tools so you can use them to create what you need.

i still don't have a clue what level you're at with blender but i started by making very basic objects like cans, bowls, tables and chairs. stuff around me for good reference.

you can watermark an image onto your blender work space and use the orthographic view to accurately make the basic shape.

Making a fully working ambulance that is game ready it a lot of work and cant be done if you don't know the basics.

Will add some of my links when i get to my home computer.
