so we have a 100 slot server again and its lagging, desyncing and all the problems we had before are back, please sort it out :D

I'm going to say this once and for all because wilco has been commenting on posts about this subject for the past few days, The de-sync is NOT the server it is a problem with the latest ARMA 3 update!

The developers are aware of this mistake and will be sorted soon, in the mean time please do not bother wilco about this as it is not the 100 slot server that is causing this.

Try to inform your players. It takes 10minutes to write up a small status-update which would save you the endless amount of complaint-topics. You accuse us of jumping to conclusions based on bad information, but yet we're not being given the info to form a good opinion.

You can't expect every player to read every single post made on this forum. Information is spread all over the place. You could make a banner or something similar which would provide some core-info about the current status of development.

don't you think its common sense to check if there is a thread already containing what you are going to complain/ask about?

yes it is easy to make a banner but its much easier to look up on the forums, plus wilco is busy and so is ed. They work so hard just to keep the server up and running so please be grateful.

PS: If wilco/Ed would make a banner of the problems that they are facing the list would not be worth the time to do instead just try and find a tread containing the problem, if you cant then make a thread and people that are informed about the situation will pass the information on

The vehicle desynch/floating/invisibleness may be due to the latest arma 3 update, but you can't deny the fact that the server cannot handle 100 slots of Altis Life as the mission has so much going on.

It cripples in the last hour. Even tonight, there was an extra restart at 11pm due to the vehicle unlock glitchstopping anyone driving anywhere.

Also, when the server is under strain like it is in the final hour running at 100 slots, is when the saving of gear/cash is most likely to mess up. For example tonight before the unscheduled 11pm restart, I had been on a few hours and changed my gear throughout the session. Synched data regularly. Then died in a hostage situation and spent the last 20 minutes running around Athira chatting to people in my civilian clothes.

After restart, I log back on and I am fully geared as if the 2+ hours of gameplay never happened. My items/cash had reverted to the same stuff I had in the morning..... Not that I'm complaining as it saved me a trip to an outpost but if I had spent all that time doing nosetalc runs to build up cash, I'd be miffed.

This is the problem I used to get with 100 player server, as well as the desynch.

Even being meantioned in several posts, people should look for the information.

Keep up with the news, search web, ask players.. it doesn't have to be handed to you on a plate.

Wilco found about arma update the same way you could, reading and investigating.

That would be an ideal world. In reality not many people do that. I'm not speaking for myself but from experience. It's easier to meet people half way instead of being stubborn and choose the easiest option to just say 'look it up on the forums'. That's the same method used by and towards players.

It's called management and communication and there is a serious lack of that.

Take it or leave it, it's just my 2 cents...
