Following is aimed toward people who know me from the last 1.something years I have been on this server, if anyone unknown to me wants to reply to it they are free to but I will not consider them, this is meant for all the people I have met with on here. You will know if I am talking to you or not.

So, as some of you know I live in a squat, called ''De Beek''(The Stream) and we have our own bar downstairs that we open on weekends. We provide a good amount of beer, people don't pay a price but just whatever they want. We try to organize a wide array of activities, (movie nights, poker tournaments, used clothing exchane, vegan cooking, chess tournaments, parties (D'oh). This squat was started by my housemate and good friend who has been doing this for about 15 years. It is a tool so show society you cannot just forgo your responsibility on owning buildings and let them be vacant and unused just for administrative or planning purposes.
In this last year we have established our ''bar'' as a low level, relax place to hang out without all the usual downsides of pub and club. No hysteria, no bouncers, no high pricing, no expectations as in how to behave or what to wear. We have organized lots of events and parties, invested every penny that was ever made into improving the place, which had been empty for over 3 years.
But enough propaganda.
October 13th we celebrate our one year anniversary, and we wouldn't worth much if we didn't use that as an excuse for a party. So we will.
October 10th, on saturday, we will host a big party with several artists performing (from poetry, singer/songwriter to psytrance/minimal DJ's.).
As I sadly had to miss the ALUK meetup in London due to money issues, it would be cool to meet some of you guys here. If you are from the Netherlands/Belgium or even further away and want to travel to Hengelo, Netherlands that would be awesome. I can arrange for multiple (though not infinite) sleeping places. Get in touch via PM if you want to come and have a good party. We can discuss the details about travel and such in PM ^^.
