I can now happily announce that today is one year ago since I created my forum account! (Which was the same day I began playing here)
I won't keep this short because I can do whatever I want (Sweg)
My first day started like most other peoples, with being a hobo, I remember back in the day you could spawn in the red-zone (where RDM and VDM was allowed) and I immediately met a rebel, this man taught me the ropes of the server (Back then the server wasn't AS RP focused as it is now, of course still RP focused but a little more relaxed with going out of character etc.) I became a rebel, the rebel that taught me everything had left the server, no Idea where he went. I then learnt the server rules by heart and joined this gang called Knights of Altis (This was LoA before it was ... LoA) We usually only used minimal RP which when I look back i'm not extremely proud of. That doesn't mean we didn't rp though! But after KoA was shut down, I began lonewolfing and saw the beauty in RP and began thinking out different scenarios and then making them reality in game, one of the things that made me hooked on ALUK. But a month or two later down the line, I was playing with a few friends and I met this man at the Donator shop (North of Athira) by the name of Birchieboy, he asked for help with getting some friends out of police custody and we agreed to helping him, we setup a roadblock on the way to Athira HQ to stop the convoy, after a pretty intense firefight we succeeded, but due to police backup enroute I jumped in a car and ran off, leaving birchie to get his friends. This was the start of my introduction into "Inglorious bastards" We played all the time together, playing around in Ifrits generally having a great time etc. and we decided to make it an official gang and create a proper name and background story, This is how The Increment was made (I came up with/Googled myself to the name :3) I then a month later lost my passion for ArmA 3 and stopped playing for a good bit of time, playing other games like DayZ and World of Warcraft (Yes I know). After my return TI have had mass recruitment and I didn't find it enjoyable being with TI, resulting in my departure from The Increment. I then joined this gang Called AEGIS, I like the way they were running things and thought it could be fun to tryout and I loved it! I made my way all the way to Director in AEGIS before I decided to leave due to internal issues. After this I contacted Fuel about joining the Altis police force, I was accepted unto an Interview and passed it, I've since then made my rank all the way to SGT within the police force. That's a summary of my first year on ALUK, and I can't wait to see what's gonna happen in my second year here!
