Quick description of what happened: The video shows it all, my argument is that if someone joins the server then checks over the laws because they want to drive a kart around, as far as they or I am aware, it's legal because it isn't stated as an illegal car. PC Fuel was reasonable but SGT Simpan comes into the situation with an unreasonable action, scraps the vehicle before hearing my part of the story and doesn't care about a thing I have to say, in the end. Knocks me out "accidend" doesn't matter he still KO'd me and then drives away without even a resolution to the matter, no ticket no "Okay here's what we can do" like PC Fuel was stating at the start, just drives away. Once again, it wasn't in the laws so I assumed that it was legal to drive around during daylight hours. So basically I would like the money I spent on the Kart back and that is it, I would also like the laws to be up to date so something like this doesn't keep happening. A brand new player on the server isn't going to join then go instantly onto the forums searching through everything looking for the laws, they will open up the in game map like it says to when you log in and check the laws assuming that they are the up to date ones. And I would also like to point out that if someone does come onto the forums searching for the laws and also I did the same because this "SGT" told me to, I was greeted with this page: http://puu.sh/blOoY/43aae0be26.png . So therefor I am still unable to find the laws which state that kart's are not allowed to be driven. I understand driving at night because you need to have lights on at night and there are none.
 

 
Im interested in the outcome of this, I don't see why its illegal either, and I cant see it in the laws.. Seems like the power has gone to his head!

 
Well as long as there is no law for it, it's legal. Why is police ALWAYS right? I am with Benji on this one.

After weeks after release of go karts and cops getting trolled. Theres a no shits given approach as its a known troll vehicle. 

 
Im with Benj as well, there is no law stating they are illegal therefor I think he should be compensated then maybe it should be put in the rules as illegal.

 
The gokart is an illegal road vehicle. The only place you are allowed to drive it, is at the stigs gokart track by the airport.

 It's been illegal on the roads ever since the DLC came out, and in terms of RP and real life.

Gokarts are not "street legal" and cannot be licensed. If you are operating one on a public roadway, whether or not you have a license won't matter too much. Operating the kart on a public road will get you pulled over. Period. The kart is small and (generally) quick. Even on a lightly traveled road, a car can appear quickly and may never see you and the kart. You can be seriously injured with ridiculous ease. And it takes little more to actually kill you.

Gokarts are to be scrapped when found any where else than on The Stigs gokart track.

I did try to help you out, but in the end of the day SGT Simpan out ranks me and made the decision, I did explain to you that it was illegal, all you kept saying is check the map it is not in the laws, I tried to RP it with you and mention some law appendix's but you was not playing along, SGT Simpan explained about it has no lights road tax MOT or indicator, and you then say cars do not have useable indicators which is fail RP in my eyes as IRL they would work, in future use common sense just ask yourself would I be allowed to do it in real life?

If you cant IRL more than likely illegal in Altis.

 
Well I don't see why it has to be refused, I wasn't driving like a twat, you can see on the video I was going 50 until I got out of Kavala, and I checked the laws before I drove it out and I couldn't see that it was illegal. It wasn't my intention to troll, I have been playing a long time and as I wasn't made aware that it was illegal I feel it was unfair to scrap it, they should have just let me know that it was illegal "because that law doesnt say it is" and then impounded it, there was no need to scrap it and be a complete cunt to me. Just give it some thought plz.

 
And also, if Karts are only allowed on the track, there isn't even a garage there to get one out is there? I know you can buy them there but you still have to get there somehow, even if you spawn in Athira you still have to drive there. So basically you are saying that I have to buy a kart every time I want to use it because I am not allowed to drive the one I own to the track? It's really very confusing and it seems made up as it goes along. Needs re-working...

It wasn't my intention to troll, I was following the speed limit and just trying to get out of the city, had good control of the kart and wasn't all over the place. Just felt I was treated like a cunt (not by fuel) and their actions where not really called for because as stated there was nothing telling me that I couldn't drive one on the road, therefore I feel a warning and impound would have been the appropriate actions to take but no, the officer was suborn and cruel. Didn't even want to reach a conclusion, just drove off at the end.

 
the reason there isn't a garage, is because when the DLC got released, the track was the only place you could get a go kart, and they were rental only, and as far as i know it isn't meant to be a buyable vehicle as it is right now. since they are considered illegal on the roads.

The one that is scrapped was a permanent one, which is why I am so annoyed. It wasn't my intention to troll or anything, there just wasn't anything telling me that I couldn't use it. I got that one out of my garage. I don't see how you are suppose to get to the track if there isnt a garage there, even if I spawn at Athira i still have to drive it down there. I just want my money back nao...  :(
